An impressive cloud bank rolls in over the sierras.
The moon was coming up with sunset colors behind it.  The higher it got, the harder it was to capture with the colors and the moonlight.

Captured with my 70-200mm lens.
As you can tell, I just love the combination of poppies and lupin.  There are all sorts of composition possibilities.
These two really stuck out.  The rock and the flowers made for great multi-angle compositions.
The sky was impossibly blue up there, and a little cloud popped in briefly to add some texture to the sky.
